
The Combined Regional Squad selected by the Rugby Football League from across the country to play the Australian State Schools touring team is set to feature 22 Loughborough College names.
Together with the players making up three quarters of the England Rugby League squad also set to face Australia, this takes the total number of AASE programme players from Loughborough College to 36.
The Combined Regional Squad will be reduced to 18 for the first game of the Australian Schoolboys’ campaign on 26 November at Derwent Park, Workington. This will be followed by two further games for Australia against Wigan and Leeds before their Autumn Academy International Series games against the England Academy on 6 and 12 December.
